It is true that Sweetie's writing can be difficult to decipher.  Grandpa's is worse, as is typical of doctors.

Not long back, Boudreaux done heard his firs' grade teacher, she be going make 100 year old, so he decide he goin' sen' her a note.

He got hisse'f to de shop an' done bought him some dat paper like dey use wit' the li'l kids, an' he gone home an' get de envelope and he write her.

He say,

When I was six you done taught me how to write, an' look!  I can still do it!
